Founded in 1411, Sultan Ahmed Shah laid the foundation of this great city who desired to create a new capital city of Gujarat. He envisioned this great city on the banks of river Sabarmati and decided to create a walled city which was named Ahmedabad. Today, Ahmedabad is the largest city of Gujarat. While anointed as India’s first World Heritage City by UNESCO “Amdavad” has gone ageless on & on.
