Dayabhai Mehta Haveli is a historical house in the city of Ahmedabad. It was restored with the help of the City Heritage Centre and houses a museum collection of pre-independence photographs and artefacts.

This haveli was the home of Dayabhai Mehta, a lawyer and the Diwan (Chief Minister) of some of the princely states. This house was visited by Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and other leaders.

This haveli falls in Desai ni Pol which is rich in heritage with many houses associated with independence activists and nationalists and some beautiful havelis with exquisite woodcarvings. The haveli is a house museum open from time to time for visitors to see the artefacts, utensils, old photographs of the owner’s family and leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, newspapers of pre-Independence era, an old painting showing Bharat Mata on India’s map and other exhibits.
