Prem Darwaza
Better known as Prem Darwaza (Darwaja), Prem Gate lies to the northeast of the walled city of Ahmedabad.
This was one of the two gates built by the British as part of the plan to allow public access to the railway station. The opening of the railway line between Bombay and Ahmedabad in 1864 made it necessary to facilitate public movement.
This gate is the entrance to markets like Lati Bazaar and Jordan Road.
